Easter and Stuff, yeah I suck at blogging lately!

Well, yeah I have sucked at blogging for the last few months, but I hav e a good excuse. So here's the last month in a flash......we blessed Jaxon on Easter, thus my whole family was up here except for matthew and michael. The kids all got to do an easter egg hunt in my yard, there was about 2 hours of decent weather that day, so we did it as fast as we could. Lance took a bunch of the boys and some smaller kids, my dad and bro in laws hiking around tropic. My mom and I spent most of the weekend cooking for Jaxons blessing, and Cindi's dog Sampson, a huge Alaskan Malamute spent most his time takign advantage of my handicap golden retriever Rusty, he's got a bum hip. All in all it was a lot of fun and here a a bunch of pictures from that weekend.

Jaxin is 1 months old!!!!

Well, the last 4 weeks have been pretty busy for the Syrett family. Jaxon is one month old!!! I have been a slacker and havn't posted very much lately so here is an update. Jaxon had been such a good baby, it should be illegal. I guess I cant really complain cause my other two boys were pretty good babies too. Just my luck if I ever get a girl, she'll be the pain. Jaxon is just content to snuggle. If I could lay him on my chest all day he would stay there and never move. Lance thinks its a little unfair cause he doesnt do that with him, but who do you think he spends his whole day with. I just wish he would stay this size for a little bit longer, I dont like it when they get big. Surprisingly I have found that so far going from one to two was harder than going from two to three.

Baby Jaxon Updates

So I took Jaxon to his first doctors appointment yesterday, and the doctor says he is perfect. He did lose a little weight, he weighs 7lbs 13 oz now, but he says most babies lose between 8-10oz and he lost nine. Blake only lost 2 oz, but he was a baracuda baby. Jaxon also had jaundice and had to be put on lights at home, mainly from the bruising he got from being beat out of me. Doc says that he is okay now. Now I had to post someof these pictures for my sister ashley. She made him this little beanie and we all though he looked kind of like a thug in this outfit. But that goes with his complexion, cause he is alot darker than is brothers and everyone calls him my littel indian baby. My mom and I have been looking through pictures trying to figure out who he looks like more, and found he doesnt look a whole lot like his brothers, we found some of Aimees baby pictures and then some of her little girl Ellee and couldnt believe how much he looks like her. My mom says that Aimee must have made him cause he looks so much like her.
So I kind of think he looks like his grandpa John in this picture, got that permanent frown going on.

So I had to put these pictures on here too. The day we came home from the hospital, my boys were at Lance's moms house and when she brought them home she told us he had hit his lip on their coffee table, but all night you couldnt really tell, then the next morning we wake up to this. It got so big his upper lip would sag.
Here you can see that not only his lip but part of his face was a bit swollen too, yeah he is a bit of a mess.

This is Blake right after he was born, the poor thing got pretty beat up during delivery, it was pretty rough.

Jaxon MaKay Syrett was born on Saturday March 7th at 4:06pm. He weighed in at 8lbs 6oz and was 20.5 inches long. His coming was quite a surprise for anyone that knows my history. I went to my doctors appointment last Thursday and Dr Gatherum said nothing had changed, I had not dilated or anything, which was not a surprise for us cause I never do and have to have c-sections anyway. SO I went home with a c-section planned for the 13th of march. When I got home that night I was helping last rearrange our room and suddenly felt like I peed my pant just a little . I didnt think anything of it cause I stopped after that. Then the next night Friday, it happened again a few times. Saturday morning Lance panicked and told me to call my doctor so I did and they said I might be leaking fluid so we got all ready and packed for us and the kids just in case we were going to stay, which we didnt really think would happen. We dropped the kids off at Lance's parents and headed over to Cedar. The ran some tests and the test came back that it was negative for fluid, so we thought that we were going home and the nurse said that my doctor wanted me checked just to be safe. She checked me and found I was dilated to a 2, 90% effaced and really thin, and for someone that had never gone into labor on my own I was shocked. Then the contractions started to get worse. They did an ultrasound and found that my fluid was quite low and that I probably did have a slow leak of fluid, I just hadnt leaked enough that day to detect it. So about an hour later, I was wheeled in and had my c-section done. It was quite a surprise, but a very happy one. Jaxon is the sweetest baby ever. I keep thinking he will wake up and show his true colors but he is just content to be.

7 THINGS I CAN DO:
1. Wear high heel shoes, love them, would wear them everyday if I didn't have 2 kids and one on the way.
2. Train for a 1/2 marathon, I did it last year but got knocked up right before the race and so this year I am going to do it right after I have my baby.
3. Walk and chew gum at the same time, I know my hubby is jealous of that one.
4. Be patient with my kids, yes this is an accomplishment cause I have less patience for everyone else.
5. Harass my mom and say things I shouldn't to her, hey where do you think I got it from...
6. Cook, I really like to cook, even though I dot do it as often as I should these days.
7. win any argument with my husband, yes it is a talent I am proud of.

7 THINGS I CAN'T DO:
1. Stay home by myself for longer than a day or two, I hate it when Lance travels.
2. Have a baby the normal way, all c-sections for me.
3. See my family as much as I would like to,
4. Drive in the snow, well I guess I can do it, but I hate it, hate it, hate it.
5. Go shopping real quick, unless I go to Rubys or Clarkes, pretty pathetic.
6. Kill a bug or spider, they gross me out s bad.
7. watch Lance discipline my kids, doesnt bother me when I do it, but when he does it, I think he's being way too hard on them.

Uncomfortable PJs

So the other night Lance was getting the kids dressed after their bath and Corbyn comes up to me and complains that his pajama bottoms were bugging him, I started busting up laughing. Corbyn likes to wear boxers and I just bought him some new ones but they are still a little too big. So Lance put them on Corbyn and apparently his PJ botttoms were too tight for his large boxers. It was the funniest thing to look at and I showed Lance and what was even funnier is that he couldnt see the problem. I guess he doesn't mind having his underwear all bunched up in his pants around his waist.

Snow Day!!

Well, last night we got a ton of snow, and today the kids were aching to go out and play in it. We went out and decided to build a snowman. They loved it. I got some real cute pictures of them playing and working on the snowman. Here are some of them.

As for me, I found that a nine month pregnant girl look even worse in a snow suit, who would have though.
