OK I HAVE TO FESS UP

Well, I guess I had better announce this because it is starting to get out. I planned to keep it secret for another 2 weeks but 3 days ago while on the way home from cedar city I started bleeding pretty bad, so I called lance and he told me to go back to cedar to my doctor and he would meet me there, let me tell you that was a crappy experience. So when I got to the doctor, he did an ultrasound and the baby is still there, everything looks normal so far, so suddenly I am put on complete bed rest for the next week until my next appointment. Anyone that had been on bed rest, the first day is kind of nice, you get to rest and watch TV, then you start to go crazy. So my mom and sister showed up yesterday to help take care of me for a few days. Lance has been so good. He yells at me anytime I get up to do anything but pee. So hopefully everything will be ok and I can get back to normal life. So anyways, everything seems good right now, for the time being, guess we'll wait and see. I think everthing will be fine.

20 years tag
20 years ago.....

1. I was 8 and was just moving to Las Vegas

2. I was mad at my parents for making me move

1. Holy Crap I had just graduated from high school and was getting ready to go to college at SUU in Cedar City

2. Cut my hair super short, I mean short.

3. was working at Abercrombie and Fitch

4. was chillin with my friends and going to Ska shows all over Las Vegas

5. I was also working at Rios Swimwear, where me and my sisters all worked

5 years ago...

1.Lance and I were just getting through his Senior year of college.

2. I was spending most of my time in the ceramics studio at SUU, Art was my major with an emphasis in ceramics

3. Got pregnant for the first time.

4. Lance graduated from school and we moved back to Rubys Inn to work for the summer.

5. I ended up having a miscarriage that year.

3 years ago....

1. I had a newborn baby boy. I finally was able to stay pregnant.

2. We were living at Rubys, working and had decided to stay and were gearing up to build a house.

3. I was able to take a nap when Corbyn took a nap. It was great.

4. I had moved to my palatial apartment at Bryce View Lodge. It was fancy!!!

1 year ago....

1. We had recently moved into our new house and I had a 8 month old baby boy named Blake.

2. Was extremely sleep deprived!

So far this year I.......

1. have been training for a half marathon
2. planted a garden and yes its growing well, first one.

3. gone to SanFransisco

4. made some new friends

5. watched blake become a little terror

6. repainted my kitchen.

Yesterday I.....

1. rested after my family left

2. played some guitar hero.

3. cut Lances hair,

4. went grocery shopping

Today I.....

1. am at work and my husband is yelling at me cause I should be working instead of doing this.

2. will go home and weed my garden and help the kid that said he'd do it for 10 dollars a month

3. go running

4. eat dinner

5. watch my tivo'd the next design star, its my secret addiction

Tomorrow I.....

1. am sleeping in

2. probably be at work

3. will clean my house

1. will be going to hawaii

Ok so Lance and I are lucky enough to be harassed by some kids from town. One is Lance's nephew and the other, well, Im sure Lance is related to him too. To say the least my kids think it is the greatest thing when these kids come over. These are some pics that I took while they were at our house one night. Blake thinks he is the coolest thing sitting here playing on the internet with them.

Half Marathon Update

Ok so I decided to run the Bryce Canyon area half marathon from Rubys Inn to Cannonville UT its aproximately 13 miles. I have been training for a long time now and have made it to my tenth mile. This is big for me because I am I was not a big runner prior to about 8 months ago. I am still not that good but I am thrilled that I have at least run as far as I have. I am not going for placing or a good time. I am going just to finish it.

So the other day I got Blake naked for a bath and he booked it out the front door, quickly picked up the watering can and proceeded to water my flowers. Now how could I deprive him of that pleasure, even buck naked. So I decided to use it as a photo op.

Thomas the train

Ok so anyone with a little boy has got to know Thomas the Train. Well he was at the Heber Valley Railroad last month and we took Corbyn and Blake up to see him. Corbyn is a huge fan, he eats sleeps and breaths thomas the train. He was in heaven.

Well its been a while since I have posted anything. We been really busy lately. So much to write about. I will be back soon with pics and other stuff.

2. Who eats more? Depends, when I am pregnant I can eat him under the table. Otherwise Lance can fit more in one bite than I can in my whole meal.

4. Who is taller? well Lance is 6foot 4 inches and I am 5 foot 6 so I think I am
5. Who is smarter? Well I dont know how to answer that without getting into trouble.

7.Who does the laundry? I do, the only thing I ask lance to do is put his clothes away, but most the time he has to go to the laundry room to get dressed in the morning.
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do because we have part of our cieling that is angles (its a dormar) and Lance would hit his head every day if I wasnt on that side, plus I am by the window and I like that
9. Who pays the bills? Lance has the finance degree but I payt he bills and manage the accounts
10. Who cooks more? Lance knows how to make spaghettios, its his specialty otherwise, its me
11. What meals do you cook together? we dont really cook together, but lance will do the dishes sometimes
12. Who is more stubborn? I have to say that I am way more subborn and Lance is a pushover,I cant help it its the way I was raised, I came by it rightly.
13. Who is the first to admit they're wrong? Lance, he will always say sorry first even if it is my fault, its really not.
14. Who is more clean? What do you mean by clean, we both shower everyday, but Lance has a real hard time cleaning up after himself
15. Who has more siblings? we are the same there are six in each family
16. Who wears the pants in the relationship? Hate to say it but I do.

18. Who eats more sweets? Well I would say Lance. I am trying to take care of myself.
19. Guilty pleasures? Lance's is BYU basketball and football, he would watch it all day.
.20. How did you meet? My roommate was from Cannonville ooutside of Tropic and he lived in my apartment complex and my roommate introduced us.
21. Who kissed who first? Lance, he was me and my roommates room and she told him to give us goodnight kisses, he pecked her on the cheek and then attacked me. Lets just say that me and Cher laughed for a long time after that as he ran for the door
22. Who proposed? Lance, there was a big plane crash on some of their property years ago and there was nothing salvagable so they burried all the remants, nobody survived. For years people had found things on that piece of property, two wedding rings were found, so we thought it would be neat to go wander around and see what we could find, to make a long story short, he found my rign there and proposed to me there, I said no but he just kept insisting, just kidding.
23. His best features? His eyes and his patience. He is the most tolerable and patient person I know.
4. What is his greatest quality? Lance has a bunch, being a great dad and husband is number 1. and again his patience and easy going personality is right up there too.

NO MORE TONSILS

So Tuesday Corbyn had his tonsils and adenoids out. The doctors said that his adenoids were taking up 90% more room than they should. Anyone that knows, Corbyn snored really bad and that is why I took him to te doctor cause it was turning into sleep apnea. It was aweful. Already he is snoring less and its only been two days. They say is takes a while before the swellign goes down and they are 100% . He did really well though. He was in and out in 30 minutes and has his good and bad moments. We are really glad he had it done. He already sleeps sounder.

A New Addition!!

So for the last few months we have been thinking about getting another dog so that Rusty our Golden Retriever would have someone to play with so on Monday I went and picked up our new puppy, Layla. She is purebread chocolate lab and is 9 weeks old. She is so sweet. She is doing pretty well with the potty training but if anyone has any good advice share away. Rusty loves her and they spend most of their time wrestling. Corbyn is very protective of her. All I can say is its nice to have another girl in the house. She seems to be adjusting really well and I think Lance actually likes her!!!(Lance is adjusting to having a dog as a pet, this is foreign to him. Here are some cute pics
Rusty and Layla taking another nap. Yes Rusty did get shaved at the groomers and they shaved him way too short and left his leg hair long so now he looks like a poodle, greyhound mix. Talk about ugly, its not quite what I asked for, I cant wait till it grows out.

San Fransisco or Bust!!!!

Well the last 2 weeks have been quite busy for our family. We left for San Fransisco about 2 weeks ago and Lance and I were there for 3 days on a business trip. Yes only lance and I went grandma nutz watched them in Vegas. This was our first trip without our kids, and it was lots of fun. We got to go to this long 4 hour 5 course dinner show that was a mix of mystere and moulin rouge. It would have been really fun if it were only 2 hours, but 4 hours was too much. we went shopping and walked alot. Most the time was spent in meetings but when we had free time we went sightseeing as much as possible. We were right on the warf so we could see alcatraz and the golden gate bridge. It was pretty cool. Stupid me I left my camera home so I bought a disposable one and now I just need to get them developed so there might be pics soon.
