1. What is his name? Lance Syrett

2. Who eats more? Depends, when I am pregnant I can eat him under the table. Otherwise Lance can fit more in one bite than I can in my whole meal.
3. Who said I love you first? we've never said that, just kidding, lance did first
4. Who is taller? well Lance is 6foot 4 inches and I am 5 foot 6 so I think I am
5. Who is smarter? Well I dont know how to answer that without getting into trouble.
6. Who is more sensitive? Me by far
7.Who does the laundry? I do, the only thing I ask lance to do is put his clothes away, but most the time he has to go to the laundry room to get dressed in the morning.
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do because we have part of our cieling that is angles (its a dormar) and Lance would hit his head every day if I wasnt on that side, plus I am by the window and I like that
9. Who pays the bills? Lance has the finance degree but I payt he bills and manage the accounts
10. Who cooks more? Lance knows how to make spaghettios, its his specialty otherwise, its me
11. What meals do you cook together? we dont really cook together, but lance will do the dishes sometimes
12. Who is more stubborn? I have to say that I am way more subborn and Lance is a pushover,I cant help it its the way I was raised, I came by it rightly.
13. Who is the first to admit they're wrong? Lance, he will always say sorry first even if it is my fault, its really not.
14. Who is more clean? What do you mean by clean, we both shower everyday, but Lance has a real hard time cleaning up after himself
15. Who has more siblings? we are the same there are six in each family
16. Who wears the pants in the relationship? Hate to say it but I do.
17. What do you like to do together? Well that s personal
18. Who eats more sweets? Well I would say Lance. I am trying to take care of myself.
19. Guilty pleasures? Lance's is BYU basketball and football, he would watch it all day.
.20. How did you meet? My roommate was from Cannonville ooutside of Tropic and he lived in my apartment complex and my roommate introduced us.
21. Who kissed who first? Lance, he was me and my roommates room and she told him to give us goodnight kisses, he pecked her on the cheek and then attacked me. Lets just say that me and Cher laughed for a long time after that as he ran for the door
22. Who proposed? Lance, there was a big plane crash on some of their property years ago and there was nothing salvagable so they burried all the remants, nobody survived. For years people had found things on that piece of property, two wedding rings were found, so we thought it would be neat to go wander around and see what we could find, to make a long story short, he found my rign there and proposed to me there, I said no but he just kept insisting, just kidding.
23. His best features? His eyes and his patience. He is the most tolerable and patient person I know.
4. What is his greatest quality? Lance has a bunch, being a great dad and husband is number 1. and again his patience and easy going personality is right up there too.

NO MORE TONSILS

So Tuesday Corbyn had his tonsils and adenoids out. The doctors said that his adenoids were taking up 90% more room than they should. Anyone that knows, Corbyn snored really bad and that is why I took him to te doctor cause it was turning into sleep apnea. It was aweful. Already he is snoring less and its only been two days. They say is takes a while before the swellign goes down and they are 100% . He did really well though. He was in and out in 30 minutes and has his good and bad moments. We are really glad he had it done. He already sleeps sounder.

A New Addition!!

So for the last few months we have been thinking about getting another dog so that Rusty our Golden Retriever would have someone to play with so on Monday I went and picked up our new puppy, Layla. She is purebread chocolate lab and is 9 weeks old. She is so sweet. She is doing pretty well with the potty training but if anyone has any good advice share away. Rusty loves her and they spend most of their time wrestling. Corbyn is very protective of her. All I can say is its nice to have another girl in the house. She seems to be adjusting really well and I think Lance actually likes her!!!(Lance is adjusting to having a dog as a pet, this is foreign to him. Here are some cute pics
Rusty and Layla taking another nap. Yes Rusty did get shaved at the groomers and they shaved him way too short and left his leg hair long so now he looks like a poodle, greyhound mix. Talk about ugly, its not quite what I asked for, I cant wait till it grows out.

San Fransisco or Bust!!!!

Well the last 2 weeks have been quite busy for our family. We left for San Fransisco about 2 weeks ago and Lance and I were there for 3 days on a business trip. Yes only lance and I went grandma nutz watched them in Vegas. This was our first trip without our kids, and it was lots of fun. We got to go to this long 4 hour 5 course dinner show that was a mix of mystere and moulin rouge. It would have been really fun if it were only 2 hours, but 4 hours was too much. we went shopping and walked alot. Most the time was spent in meetings but when we had free time we went sightseeing as much as possible. We were right on the warf so we could see alcatraz and the golden gate bridge. It was pretty cool. Stupid me I left my camera home so I bought a disposable one and now I just need to get them developed so there might be pics soon.

HAPPY EASTER!!!!

Here are some pictures of our kids on easter after the easter bunny came. Corbyn was real into it, Blake wasn't quite sure of what was going on but he did enjoy the candy.

First time away

OK so Friday my friend and I decided we wanted to go to this Starving Artist art sale in ST George, and lucky us, our husbands decided they would stay home with the kids and we could go stay overnight and check out the sale on Saturday. It was the first time I have been away from my kids overnight, except for when I was having a baby, that doesn't count. It was so much fun. It kind of was weird though, nobody to chase, or drag to the car or clean up after at dinner, no we got to sit at dinner and we were actually okay waiting 30 minutes to get to our seat cause all we did was just sit. We had tons of fun and I got three really great paintings for almost nothing, its an awesome sale. I did miss my kids and my husband, it was good to go back home. We are planning on making it a regular thing, whether our husbands want us to or not.

Running

OK, so one of my goals this year is to run a 10k and maybe a 1/2 marathon. I have been"training"(I use that word loosely) for about a month and a 1/2 and yesterday morning I ran 5 miles!!!! This is huge for me because I dont think I have ever ran 5 miles in my life. So I am almost to my first goal of 6 miles, thats less than half to my second goal. I dont know if I will make it to that one. Just my luck I'd get knocked up before I get there.

THE BIG 30!!!!

Happy Birthday Lance !!!! He just turned the big 30 and he was not so excited about it. I decided to throw him a surprise birthday party. We had a bunch of friends over and Lance got so many cool gifts....... His mom and dad gave him a snore reduction pillow(for anyone that knows Lance, he tends to snore a bit). His sister gave him an enema and hemroid cream. Since he is thirty he is now an old man.

makin cookies

The other day I was making chocolate chip cookies and Corbyn was playing with his playdough in the dining room and he came over to me while I was baking the cookies and handed me this tray that is the top of his playdough carton and had made me some cookies all by himself and put little round balls from another toy as the chocolate chips. I swear I gave him zero help, I didnt even know he was making them. They are so dang cool. He is my little artist. Now I can add baker to his list.
These are his gingerbread men that he made after he made me cookies. Notice the eyes, they are the same balls from the chocolate chip cookies. He's got quite an imagination.

The other day Corbyn and Blake and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch and corbyn managed to get more on his face than in his belly and Blake got more in his hair than anywhere else. Corbyn realized I was taking pictures and decided to start posing, thus the very lovely pictures.

Saying Prayers

Ok so lately we have been trying to get Corbyn to say the prayer at dinner, and his new thing to say when we ask him to say it is "I already said it last morning..." What else can you do but laugh. You know he had to have learned that from someone. If anyone has any suggestions for getting him to say them, let me know please.
